Prickly pear oil comes from the prickly pear cactus and is extremely rich in vitamin E, which makes it one of the most powerful oils in mature skincare regimes. Grown in Morocco, where the climate boosts the cactus’s growth for optimal benefits, the seeds are extracted by hand to produce a small quantity of oil; the seeds themselves obtain around 5% of oil and 1 ton of prickly pear is used to produce 1 litre of oil sustainably. Prickly pear oil also contains linoleic acid, which helps the skin retain water and stay hydrated. This oil can be applied to the skin in its pure form (2-3 drops) or can be diluted using other products (moisturiser).

My favourite oil of all time! I’ve found it so hard to get the real deal when it comes prickly pear oil, but this is INCREDIBLE! The delivery was super quick and I love the cute packaging. I only need to use a small amount and oil leaves my skin soooooooo soft and hydrated and I’ve seen a huge improvement in the appearance of my skin, particularly on the cheeks where I had some texture. I really do love this oil, this oil actually delivers the results that are promised by all the other oils; non-imitating,light weight feel, dewy. glowing skin.
I’ve tried all the others: rose hip, pomegranate, organ, maraca; all of them and this is the best one yet. I love the way it feels on my skin. The pores on my skin appear tighter and the best part is the next day, my skin still has a dewy look to it. I have been using this under my eyes consistently every night for only a week and the outer corners of my undereyes match my face colour now! I’m so shocked. Dark circles are very hard to tackle and I had given up but this oil wow!!! It’s worked a miracle. As its coming to winter I will use this on my face too!
